During the 2026 Legislative Session, HB4265 was passed and signed by the Governor. Included in the bill was the Occupational Therapy Legislative Rule related to Continuing Education and Competence. The modified Rule will go into effect on July 1, 2026. Please see below for a link to the new Rule and a brief description of the changes:
Series 4 Continuing Education and Competence
Language was modernized and organized to better reflect the types of continuing education activities now available. Capstone mentoring was added as a qualified continuing education activity.
