WV RESIDENTS WHO HOLD A CURRENT WV LICENSE
AND WISH TO PURCHASE A PRIVILEGE TO PRACTICE IN ANOTHER COMPACT MEMBER STATE
- To become eligible to participate in the Compact, you must use the OT COMPACT ELIGIBILITY link below to log in to your existing Certemy account and complete the steps for eligibility. Steps include an FBI fingerprint-based criminal background check and an authorization to disclose personal data, including name, address, date of birth, full social security number, and licensure data, as required by the rules of the OT Compact Commission.
Practitioners WILL NOT be able to create an account in CompactConnect (the OT Compact data system) to purchase privileges to practice in remote member states until the FBI criminal background check and authorization to disclose personal data have been completed and received by the West Virginia Board of Occupational Therapy.
Any privileges to practice purchased in remote member states will have the same expiration date as your WV license. Privileges to practice DO NOT renew automatically when you renew your WV license. They must be re-purchased through the OT Compact Commission to continue to practice in that state.
